Our Leaders

ELDERS

We believe that the Bible teaches a plurality of elders (*also called pastors/shepherds), in which all the men who serve in this office have equal authority and responsibility of pastors in the local church. The New Testament gives clear evidence for a plurality of eldership in churches. There is a cooperative team as opposed to polarization around one man (Acts 11:30, 14:23, 15, 20:17-38, 21:17-26; Phil 1:1, 1 Tim 3:1-7, 1 Peter 5:1-3). To contact our elders please email elders@redeemersw.com.

DEACONS

In addition to the local church being led by biblically qualified elders, we believe that the other office given to the church is that of the role of deacon (Acts 6:1-7, 1 Timothy 3:8-13). These men serve the body by caring for physical needs, fostering unity among the members, and support the elders. To contact the deacons please email deacons@redeemersw.com.

Who We Are

The gospel is the defining and determining factor of all we do—thus the name ‘Redeemer’ because everything we do as the redeemed comes from living for and in our Redeemer.
